The Time Travelers' Ball & Exposition 2012:
Ages of Exploration

Join us Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Hillsboro, Oregon at the Civic Center and the Odd Fellows Lodge for the third Time Travelers' Ball and Exposition.

This year’s theme is Ages of Exploration. Come enjoy all our planned activities including:

    • Shopping
    • Workshops
    • Demonstrations
    • Discussions

The Marketplace will feature vendors with apparel, artifacts, and accoutrements from steampunk, replica, and vintage clothing vendors. Downtown businesses and the Hillsboro Farmers’ Market will provide additional shopping and dining. Activities will take place at both locations throughout the day. Listings of workshops and other activities will be added as the information becomes available, so check back often to see what’s new.

Pricing information for the event will be available soon. The vendor area will be at the entrance to the main event space and will be free to enter.

 

Where & When?

The Marketplace will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hillsboro Civic Center. The Odd Fellows Lodge will be open during the same time for various workshops and demos and will re-open at 7 p.m. for the Ball.

The Civic Center is located at 150 East Main Street downtown, just one block east of the MAX Hatfield Station.

The Marketplace will feature vendors with apparel, artifacts, and accoutrements from steampunk, replica, and vintage clothing vendors. Downtown businesses will provide additional shopping and dining.

The Time Travelers' Ball starts at 7 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Lodge at 267 East Main Street.

Why?

The Time Travellers' Ball & Exposition is a benefit to support the Hillsboro Historical Society, which is in the process of obtaining its non-profit status. By supporting the Marketplace and Ball, you'll be able to support the ongoing efforts of the Historical Society to collect and preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Hillsboro and its native, early pioneer, and more recent history.
